The location is perfect just under the Parthenon, next to the acropolis museum, a few minutes walk from Plaka and in the vibrant neighborhood of Koukaki full of restaurants and bars. The room was large and clean. Very quiet. What really made me appreciate this hotel is the kindness of the staff. They really went above and beyond to make my stay very pleasant. There was a general strike on my departure day and they provided a private taxi to reach the airport. They also allowed me a late checkout at 3 PM free of charge. When the driver couldn’t reach the hotel to pick me up because of a demonstration, the gentleman at the reception (possibly the manager) personally walked me to the meeting point 5 minutes away and carried my luggage so as to make sure that I met the driver safely. All the staff at the reception (even at night time) and at the breakfast lounge were really kind and helpful.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it again lived up to our expectations. Its location truly is in the heart of the historic centre and only a few blocks from the Acropolis Museum. We simply can’t say enough about the excellent front desk staff. We, unfortunately, experienced an unpleasant situation with a pick pocket and were left with no credit cards or bank cards. The staff were extremely sympathetic and could absolutely not have been any more helpful with the arrangements we had to make. We send much thanks to them! We are determined not to let this street experience stop us from travelling and we expect to be back again next April and will be staying at Hera Hotel for sure!

I took my daughter to see the sights in Athens on the 27th January know the end of the month post Christas, weather and toursists would be at there lowest. Outstanding location, loads of bars and restaurants with 60m opposite the museum. Great value, uber central for the Acropolis (120m), the Museum, the flea market is 15 minutes walk and a lovely little village is on the way. We got lucky with the sun, no crowds and taxi to from the airport at 2am and 5.40am (out and back) was only euro 60. I didnt expect much bit it was outstanding- the hotel ,the location, the proximity to all the key places, the staff, and we paid 90 euros per room without a view. just fab.

We had a room that sleeps two. It was two single beds pushed together. It was perfect for us. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean with lots of storage. We did not get the breakfast in our rate and went out each morning to grab a cappuccino and quick bite to eat. The hotel is in a perfect location, right near the Plaka, restaurants, stores and the Acropolis museum. It was fantastic because we could walk everywhere.

Location is superb for exploring the Acropolis and ancient part of the city. Close to lots of nice cafés, restaurants and shops. Very close to the metro station - 2 minute walk. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of variety and all quality produce, especially enjoyed the traditional Greek breakfast.
